Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Rento Line — the website rentoline.com, the Rento Line mobile apps and the vendor dashboard (together, the "Platform"). By using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a rental company, you agree on that company's behalf.

1. What Rento Line is — and is not

• Rento Line is an online marketplace that lets you discover vehicles offered by independent rental companies ("Suppliers") and contact them directly by chat, phone, WhatsApp or free internet call.
• Rento Line is not a rental company, agent, broker or party to any rental agreement.
• Rento Line does not take bookings, process payments, hold deposits or issue refunds. All of these happen directly between you and the Supplier under the Supplier's own terms.
• Rento Line charges renters no commission and no booking fee.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to use the Platform. Suppliers set their own minimum driver age (typically 21, and often 25 for luxury and sports cars) and licence requirements. It is your responsibility to check that you qualify before contacting a Supplier.

3. Accounts

Some features (saving favourites, following companies, chat, reviews) require an account. Keep your sign-in details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, harassment, spam or any breach of these Terms.

4. Listings and prices

Vehicle details, photos, availability, prices, mileage limits, deposits, insurance cover and cancellation conditions are provided by Suppliers. Rento Line verifies each company before it goes live and removes listings reported as inaccurate, but we do not guarantee that any listing is complete, current or error-free. Always confirm the final price and conditions with the Supplier before you rent.

5. Contacting a Supplier

When you contact a Supplier through the Platform we pass on your name, phone number and message so the Supplier can reply. Free internet calls are provided as a convenience and may be unavailable or of variable quality depending on your connection.

6. Rental agreements, payments, deposits and cancellations

Your rental contract is with the Supplier only. Payment method, security deposit, fuel policy, fines and tolls (for example Salik), damage charges, cancellation and refund rules are set by the Supplier and must be agreed with them. Rento Line has no involvement in, and no liability for, these matters. Any dispute about a rental must be raised with the Supplier; we may, at our discretion, help you reach them.

7. Reviews and content

You may post reviews and messages only about experiences you actually had. Content must be truthful, lawful and respectful, and must not contain personal data of others, spam or advertising. By posting you grant Rento Line a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display the content on the Platform. We may edit or remove content that breaches these rules.

8. Terms for Suppliers (rental companies)

• You must hold a valid trade licence and all permits required to rent vehicles in your emirate or country, and keep your licence details on the Platform up to date.
• Listings must describe real vehicles you are entitled to rent, with accurate prices and genuine photos.
• You are solely responsible for your rental agreements, insurance, vehicle condition, customer service, taxes and compliance with consumer-protection and traffic laws.
• Platform subscriptions and advertising (sponsored placements, ad wallet) are billed to the Supplier according to the plan chosen in the dashboard; they are not charged to renters.
• Rento Line may suspend or remove a Supplier for inaccurate listings, licence expiry, customer complaints or breach of these Terms.

9. Acceptable use

You must not scrape or copy the Platform, interfere with its operation, attempt to access other users' data, use it to send unsolicited messages, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

10. Intellectual property

The Rento Line name, logo, software and site design are owned by Rento Line. Vehicle photos and descriptions belong to the Suppliers who upload them. Nothing on the Platform may be reproduced without permission except for personal, non-commercial use.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rento Line is not liable for any loss arising from a rental agreement, a Supplier's acts or omissions, vehicle condition, accidents, fines, or the accuracy of listings, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to AED 1,000.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these Terms.

13. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms; the date above shows the current version and continued use means you accept the changes. You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
