The park opens at 4pm every day and closes at midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, and at 1am from Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays. When we checked on 4 October 2026, Season 31 entry-ticket prices had not been published, but VIP packs had been on sale since 26 September, while stocks last.

Global Village opening date 2026: Season 31

The official site lists Season 31 as "14 Oct 2026 - May 2027". The last two seasons also opened on a Wednesday in mid-October:

  • Season 29: opened Wednesday 16 October 2024
  • Season 30: opened Wednesday 15 October 2025
  • Season 31: opens Wednesday 14 October 2026, running to May 2027

Last season's opening night started at 6pm, according to Dubai Media Office. When we checked, the official site had not yet published the opening-night time or programme for Season 31, or the exact day the season ends.

Opening hours and family days

According to the official Plan your visit page, Season 31 runs from 4pm to 12am Sunday to Wednesday, and from 4pm to 1am Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays. Tuesdays (except public holidays) are reserved for families, couples and ladies. Global Village's VIP ticket terms add that entry gates close half an hour before closing time, so the last entry is about 11.30pm from Sunday to Wednesday and 12.30am from Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays.

Global Village 2026 tickets and VIP packs

Entry tickets: on 4 October 2026 the official site said only that Season 31 entry tickets "will be available soon", with no price listed. Last season they were sold on the Global Village app and website and at the ticket gates at the entrances. Entry is free for People of Determination and a companion.

VIP packs: pre-orders opened on 21 September and public sales on 26 September at 10am UAE time, only on the Coca-Cola Arena website, while stocks last. Prices on the official VIP packs page:

  • Silver AED 1,890 and Gold AED 2,490
  • Platinum AED 3,490 and Mega Silver AED 3,490
  • Mega Gold AED 4,990 and Diamond AED 7,900

On 4 October the page said a limited number of Silver, Gold, Mega Silver and Mega Gold packs were available. Each pack includes VIP entry tickets (from 100 with Silver to 200 with Diamond), a VIP parking sticker and VIP Wonder Pass cards loaded with Carnaval points; the Mega packs add Dubai Parks and Resorts passes. Global Village's terms say no other website, platform or seller is authorised to sell VIP packs, and packs bought elsewhere can be cancelled.

Buyers must be 18 or over with a valid Emirates ID (one pack per ID per season) and must give a vehicle plate number, which is assigned to the pack when it is activated. Changing that plate needs Global Village's approval and is considered only if the car has been sold or must be replaced after an accident, with an AED 170 fee. So VIP parking from a pack suits a car you own rather than a short rental.

How to get to Global Village by car

Global Village sits beside Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311). From every direction the last step is the same: stay on E311 and take the exit signed "Global Village". Routes below come from an OpenStreetMap route planner; times assume no traffic.

From Dubai Marina or JBR (about 24 km)

Join Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) towards Sharjah for about 4 km, exit onto Hessa Street (D61) heading east towards Dubailand, then join E311 north towards Sharjah and follow the Global Village signs. About 25 to 30 minutes.

From Downtown Dubai or Business Bay (about 26 to 28 km)

Take Al Asayel Street to the Dubai–Al Ain Road (E66), leave it for Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311), then head south towards Abu Dhabi to the Global Village exit. About 25 to 30 minutes.

From Deira or Dubai Airport, DXB (about 29 to 30 km)

From Terminal 3, follow Airport Road and Al Khawaneej Road (D89) to E311, then go south (signed Dubailand / Abu Dhabi) for about 19 km. From central Deira, follow the signs for Al Garhoud, Umm Ramool and Al Rashidiya to reach the same E311 southbound stretch. About 25 minutes.

From Sharjah (about 38 km from Al Majaz)

Head out on King Faisal Street and Mleiha Road, join Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) towards Dubai, and stay on it for roughly 28 km to the Global Village exit. About 30 to 35 minutes.

From Abu Dhabi (about 137 km)

The route planner's fastest route takes E11 (Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Street, which becomes Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai), leaves at the Al Yalayis Street exit and joins E311 north towards Sharjah. On that E11 stretch, Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport Centre added a Darb toll gate at Ghantoot from 4 May 2026, charging AED 4 per crossing around the clock. The centre names Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Street as the alternative: that is E311, which becomes Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road in Dubai and leads straight to the Global Village exit. Either way takes around an hour and a half without traffic. Abu Dhabi's other Darb gates charge AED 4 per crossing from 7am to 9am and 3pm to 7pm, except Sundays and official holidays, so a mid-afternoon start from the city can add a toll.

Salik gates on the way

Dubai has ten Salik toll gates: Al Barsha, Al Safa North, Al Safa South and Jebel Ali on Sheikh Zayed Road; Business Bay Crossing on Al Khail Road; Al Garhoud Bridge and Al Maktoum Bridge; Al Mamzar North and South; and the Airport Tunnel. None of the routes above passes a Salik gate (we checked them against the gate locations), but if your navigation app sends you along Sheikh Zayed Road past Al Barsha or Al Safa, or over a Creek bridge, you will pay a toll. According to Salik's variable toll rates, outside Ramadan a crossing costs AED 6 plus VAT from 4pm to 8pm and AED 4 plus VAT from 8pm to 1am, Monday to Saturday. On Sundays (except public holidays and public events) it is AED 4 plus VAT, and crossings from 1am to 6am are free every day. Ask your rental company how Salik and Darb tolls are billed.

Global Village parking

The official plan-your-visit page lists these parking zones:

  • Free: P1 and P3, about 400 m from the Gate of the World entrance, and P5, about 450 m away
  • Free overflow: P7 to P11, open only on weekends, public holidays and busy days, about 1 km from the Cultural Gate, with a free shuttle bus or a rickshaw from AED 10
  • Paid Parking 2: AED 75 a day, about 350 m from the Happiness Gate
  • Paid Parking: AED 120 a day
  • VIP parking: AED 200 a day, free for VIP pack holders, about 100 m from the Cultural Gate
  • Dedicated parking for People of Determination

An on-site car wash starts from AED 25.

Traffic tips for opening week and weekends

  • Arrive early in opening week and on weekend evenings. The free zones closest to the gates are P1, P3 and P5; the overflow zones (P7 to P11) that open on weekends, public holidays and busy days are about 1 km from the Cultural Gate.
  • Remember your zone. Photograph the parking sign before you walk to the gate.
  • Leave a little before closing if you can, so you are not queuing out of the car park with everyone else.
  • Tourists: check your licence and IDP rules before you drive; see Can tourists drive in Dubai?

Prefer not to drive? During the season four public bus routes (102, 103, 104 and 106) serve Global Village, usually from 3.15pm to 11.15pm, and the official site lists RTA Taxi, Careem and Uber as taxi options.
